What you get

  • Every call answered

Day, night, weekends and holidays. Callers hear your approved answers, not a voicemail.

  • Messages and booking requests

Heron takes the details your team needs and passes the request on.

  • A clear note after every call

Who called, why, and what to do next. Plus a morning summary and alerts for anything urgent.

  • Set up and looked after

Risk Free configures it for your business, tests it with you and changes it when you ask.

A call, start to finish

What happens when someone calls.

Every call follows the same shape. The words come from what you approve.

  1. Heron

Thanks for calling Harbourview Physio. I’m Heron, the clinic’s AI assistant. How can I help?

  2. Caller

Do you have anything Saturday morning? My back’s been sore since Tuesday.

  3. Heron

We’re open Saturdays from nine to one. I can’t give medical advice, but I can pass a booking request to the team. Can I take your name and best number?

  • Booking request
  • Not urgent
The example shows a fictional clinic. Heron says it is an AI in its first sentence, answers only from the hours you approved, takes a booking request and writes the team a note, which joins the day's list.

The same shape, every time.

Heron answers, understands what the caller needs from the answers you’ve approved, captures only what your team needs, then either passes on a request or books directly where that’s set up. Anything urgent follows your handoff rules. Every call ends with a written note.

For comparison

What a front desk costs in wages.

Heron doesn’t replace the people who care for your customers. It makes sure no call goes unanswered while they do. The calculator uses Ontario’s average receptionist wage and your own hours; adjust it to your business.

One agent or several

Give each job its own Heron.

Some businesses run one agent. A busy clinic might run three, each with its own hours, knowledge and handoffs. Example set-up, fictional.

  • Front desk

    Available

Weekdays. Answers questions and takes booking requests.

  • After hours

    Available

Evenings and weekends. Takes messages and flags anything urgent.

  • Callbacks

    Pilot

Returns calls your team approves, with consent records in place.

What it won’t do.

  • Give medical, legal or financial advice.
  • Pretend to be a person.
  • Make up an answer. If it doesn’t know, it takes a message.
  • See your calendar, records or inbox unless that system is connected. Today, most aren’t.

Questions.

The demo is a live AI agent on Risk Free’s own line, not a client’s line.

Privacy policy

Do callers know it’s an AI?

Yes. Heron is set up to say it’s an AI at the start of a call, and it never claims to be a person.

Can it book straight into my calendar?

Today Heron takes booking requests and your team confirms them. Direct booking is in development and depends on your booking system; we check yours before promising anything.

What happens to urgent calls?

They follow the handoff rules you set with us: who’s told, and how.

What if it gets something wrong?

Tell us. Heron answers from settings you approved, so most fixes are a settings change we make for you.

Do I need new phones or software?

No. When you want Heron to answer, you forward your existing number to it.

What about my callers’ information?

Calls are handled by our voice provider. Notes keep only what your team needs. See the privacy policy.

Hear it for yourself, then let’s talk about your line.
