Heron · Campaigns

Pilot

Bring people back, a few weeks a year.

Heron sends your approved text messages to past patients and customers who agreed to hear from you, in a set window with a daily cap, and your team hears about every yes.

$297 for each active campaign month or $197 with Reception Includes $50 of text-message usage a month · CAD · plus HST · billed only while a campaign runs

A text campaign has run for our first clinic client. It’s paused now.

What you get

  • A plan and approved wording

We agree who to invite back and why. You approve every message, word for word, before anything sends.

  • A consented list, set windows, daily caps

Only people who agreed to hear from you. Messages go out in set hours, up to a daily cap.

  • Replies handled by your rules

Yes, no, stop or a question. Heron answers what you’ve set it up to answer, and the enquiry types you choose go straight to you or your staff.

  • An end-of-season summary

Who was contacted, who replied, who asked to stop. Then nothing sends until you approve the next season.

How a season runs

A start, an end, and rules that stop it early.

Every campaign has the same shape. Your plan sets the dates, the pace and the length. “Automated” means Heron, working inside limits you approved. “People” means the Risk Free team and yours.

The example shows a fictional clinic's six-week season. Week 1 is wording, weeks 2 to 5 send in set hours up to a daily cap, week 6 closes. Replies are sorted into yes, stop and a question, the team is alerted to the yes and the question, and a summary closes the season.

Six weeks, on your terms.

A season has a start and an end. Messages go out in the hours you set, under a daily cap, only to people who agreed to hear from you. Replies are sorted and your team hears about every yes. STOP removes someone at once.

The example is fictional. The words come from what you approve.

  1. 01

    Plan

    Before the season

We agree who to invite back and why. Say, patients not seen in over a year. You send the list with the permission basis for each person. We remove anyone without one.

    Who does it
    People, us and you
    You approve
    The list and the reason.
  2. 02

    Approve

    Week 1

We write the messages with you: who they’re from, why they’re sent, one clear ask, and how to stop.

    Who does it
People, us and you, then a small first batch goes out
    You approve
The exact wording, then the first batch.
  3. 03

    Send in windows

    Weeks 2–5

Messages go out in set hours, up to a daily cap. Only wording you approved goes out. Each week, a list of who was contacted and how they replied goes to your inbox.

Pilot Text messages are the channel today.

    Who does it
Automated, inside the limits you approved
    You approve
Nothing new. Only what you approved goes out.
  4. 04

    Replies

    Weeks 2–5

Replies are sorted into yes, no, stop or a question. STOP removes the person at once. Heron answers within the knowledge and rules you approved; the enquiry types you choose go straight to you or your staff; where consent is in place, it can call to arrange a booking.

    Who does it
Automated, inside the rules you set; the types you choose reach your team
    You approve
The rules: what Heron answers itself, what’s forwarded, and to whom.
  5. 05

    Summary

    Week 6

Sending stops on the end date. You get a summary: who was contacted, who replied, and who asked to stop. Nothing sends again until you approve the next season.

    Who does it
Stops automatically, you decide what’s next
    You approve
Whether there’s a next season, and when.

Always on, in every season

  • STOP removes someone at once.
  • Nothing sends outside the set hours.
  • Sending stops for the day at the cap.
  • Tell us to pause, and we stop sending.
  • The season ends on the date in your plan.

On a customer’s phone

One message, one reply, and a call only when they say yes.

A seasonal message goes to people who agreed to hear from you. When someone answers, Heron replies within the rules you set: it answers what you’ve configured it to answer, forwards the enquiry types you choose to you or your staff, and asks before any call is made. Below is one illustrative set-up with a fictional business and customer, not the only way a campaign can run.

In this example the campaign is one message and, if there’s no reply, one follow-up five working days later, then it stops. A reply cancels that reminder and the conversation carries on under your rules. STOP or a refusal ends the outreach at once.

Example Cabinetry fictional business
  1. Hi Dana, it’s Sam at Example Cabinetry. It’s two winters since we fitted your kitchen, so the hinges and seals are due a check, and we’re booking November visits. Reply STOP to opt out.
  2. Hi Sam. Yes please, but only on a Saturday. Does the check cover the soft-close hinges? Two of them have gone stiff.
  3. Heron · Example Cabinetry’s AI assistant It does, Dana. The soft-close hinges are part of the check, and the fitter can assess the two stiff ones on the day. A Saturday can be arranged.
  4. Heron · Example Cabinetry’s AI assistant If it’s easier than texting back and forth, I can call you now to find a Saturday that suits. Shall I?
  5. Yes, call me.

Illustrative demo: a fictional business, customer and conversation, showing one way Heron can be set up, not the only one. Shown faster than real messages would be sent. Messages go only to people who agreed to hear from the business, and a call is placed only after they say yes. Nothing on this page sends a message or calls anyone.

Price

Billed while a campaign runs.

$297 for each active campaign month

or

$197 an active month, as an add-on to Reception

Includes $50 of text-message usage a month · CAD · plus HST · billed only in active months

What an active month covers

  • The plan: who to invite back, why, and the dates
  • Wording written with you and approved word for word
  • A check of your list and the permission on record for each person
  • Set sending hours, a daily cap, and a stop in every message
  • Replies sorted, with your team alerted to every yes
  • A weekly list of who was contacted, and an end-of-season summary

Costs and limits

  • $50 of text-message usage a month is included: an amount, not a number of messages. Use beyond it is billed at the rate in your plan
  • Billed only in months a campaign is active. What counts as an active month is set out in your campaign plan
  • Text is the channel today, and it is a pilot. Email campaigns aren’t built, so we don’t sell them
  • We can’t promise replies. A good message gives people a reason to answer

Add when you need them

With Reception, the add-on price applies: $594 together in an active month instead of $694 bought separately. Reception’s own price doesn’t change when you run a campaign.

Consultations are free, for every service and every tier. A note books nothing and fixes no price.

What we won’t do.

Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL) requires consent, sender identification and a working way to unsubscribe. We design every campaign around it. This is general information, not legal advice.

  • Buy, rent or scrape a list. Your list is people who agreed to hear from you.
  • Message anyone without permission on record. If we can’t see the basis, they come off the list.
  • Hide the stop. Every message says who it’s from and how to stop.
  • Let Heron improvise. It works from the knowledge, wording and rules you approved. Anything outside them is forwarded to your team, not guessed.
  • Run email campaigns. They aren’t built, so we don’t sell them.

How we start

One call, one quote, one season.

  1. 01

    A short call

Who you’d like to invite back, how they agreed to hear from you, and roughly how many there are.

  2. 02

    A plan for one campaign

The price is published: $297 for each active month, or $197 with Reception, including $50 of text usage. The plan sets the dates, the list and the wording.

  3. 03

    You decide

Say yes and we start the plan. Nothing sends until you’ve approved the list and the wording.

Questions.

Who can you message?

Only people with a permission basis on record. Either they agreed to hear from you or, in the limited cases the law allows, a recent purchase or enquiry implies it. You tell us which applies to each person, and we remove anyone without one. This is general information, not legal advice.

Will Heron chat with my customers?

Within the rules you set. Heron sends the approved campaign message. When someone replies, it answers from the knowledge you approved for your business, confirms what they asked for, and forwards the enquiry types you choose, and anything it can’t answer, to you or your staff. It doesn’t improvise beyond that.

What happens when someone replies STOP?

They’re removed at once and aren’t messaged again. You can also ask us to pause the whole campaign at any time.

What does a campaign cost?

$297 for each month a campaign is active, or $197 an active month as an add-on to Reception. Each includes $50 of text-message usage; use beyond that is billed at the rate in your plan. Nothing is billed as a campaign month when no campaign is running. Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus HST.

What counts as an active month?

A month in which your campaign is sending or handling replies under its plan. Partial months and the gap between campaigns are set out in your campaign plan.

Is this live yet?

It’s a pilot. A text campaign has run for our first clinic client and is paused now. Calls from Heron to people who said yes are built, and each number needs a signed consent record first.

Can you run email campaigns?

No. Email campaigns aren’t built, so we don’t sell them. Text is the channel today.

What about following up missed calls?

That’s part of Reception & assistance, not Campaigns. Your team is told about calls that need a callback. Callbacks by Heron are a pilot, with consent records in place.
